Choose the Program that Matches Your Career Goals

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

Denotes Fully-Online Program

MSN - Education Track

A 31-credit hour program that prepares the student as a nurse educator to teach in schools of nursing programs and in various health care system settings. Students will learn about nursing and education theories, learning strategies, curricular development and teaching methodologies.

MSN - Family Nurse Practitioner Track

A 46-hour program that prepares advanced practice nurses to deliver primary health care to all ages: individuals and families throughout the lifespan and across the health continuum. Students will be provided with knowledge and clinical skills necessary for health promotion, disease prevention, assessment and management of common acute and chronic illnesses.

Post-Graduate Certification

Courses are offered both online and on campus

The LCON certificate programs accommodate the needs of MSN graduates who want to practice in another advanced nursing specialty area. They can be completed on a part-time or full-time basis. Certification programs include:

Family Nurse Practitioner

Nursing Education

Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing (PhD)

Courses are offered fully online

A fully online 7 semester (3.5 years if full-time) Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing program for registered nurses with a Masters or higher degree. Focusing on health equity research in education, practice and policy that is interdisciplinary, impactful and transformative.

Licensing agencies or boards also may have requirements in addition to an earned degree.
